Our Process
Our local design process always begins with a complimentary discover session phone chat. This is where I chat with you about our design process and see if we are a good fit. The Discovery Call is 15 minutes long.
The next step
In-Home Consultation:
The next step after the discovery call is the in-home consultation, which will be consulted at your home. In this initial consultation we will talk about your project needs, and ideas, this will help me get to know your concerns, consider this as a starting point to our collaborative partnership. We will tour your home or specific room(s) and make recommendations based on your concerns and ways to improve your space, which could last up to two hours. We will provide a detailed notes based on the recommendations we provided. At this point you can choose to undertake and implement these ideas or choose to hire us for your project. The detailed proposal will outline the scope of work understood, estimated amount of hours, design fees, and required deposit. Once we have agreed that we are a good fit, a signed proposal (contract) and fees are required before we begin any design process.
What to expect at your consultation
Prior to the meeting, I will send you via email a “Your Design Style Questionnaire” (please complete before meeting).
This meeting will last about two hours.
A walk-through of your home, or room/s.
Recommendations for furniture layout.
Budget estimate outline based on concerns. You will receive the estimate next day via the email you provide.
Paint color selection.
Window treatment ideas.
Ideas for new furniture
Lighting ideas
